Health - The Essential Nutrients You Never Heard Of

Hi John

Quick question: Why do you need to eat food?

("Jeopardy!" music is playing.) Quick, quick.

OK, whatcha got?

What is fuel?!

Very good. 100 points for you.

Then if I were to ask you specifically what is in the food that's important to your body, you'd probably say things like protein, carbohydrates, fiber, (good) fat, vitamins and minerals.

Right again. 200 points.

But something is missing here.

It's a vital nutrients that you don't hear much about...

Enzymes.

Yet every single function that your body performs relies on enzymes.

This includes breathing, wound healing, thinking, reading these words, your heart beating, digestion and countless others -- are dependent on an adequate supply of this vital nutrient.

If you run too low on it for too long, you're horizontal...

...Forever.

I'm talking about enzymes.

And based upon their important role in every single bodily process, you ought to be talking about them too.

They're essential, but have no RDA

Here's an interesting tidbit: Enzymes don't appear on the list of US Recommended Daily Allowances. The reason for that is, unlike vitamins and minerals, they're not considered "essential" because, in addition to getting them from your foods, your body can also make them.

Not considered essential -- Yet without them we're dead.

If that isn't "essential" I don't know what is.

Now, it's true that our bodies can produce enzymes. And in a perfect world, they would continue to make them into our golden years and beyond.

But it's not a perfect world, is it?

And because of that, there are many factors that decrease your body's ability to produce the enzymes that it needs.

Factors that decrease enzymes

Here are some of the "enzyme production killers" you may be facing:

* Suffering an illness or injury
* Taking acid reducing medications
* Stress
* Aging

And the biggest one of all:

* Diet

Yes--your diet can be a double whammy enzyme terminator.

Here's why:

Enzyme Terminator #1 - Complex meals

Eating complex, hard to digest meals with every food group known to man and/or overeating puts a tremendous strain on your digestive system to break everything down. As a result, you expend a BOATLOAD of enzymes.

Doing this day in and day out eventually impairs your body's ability to make enough enzymes to keep up and adequately digest your food.

Enzyme Terminator #2 - Dead (processed) foods

One of the BEST sources of food enzymes is fresh fruits and vegetables in their natural state -- that is, unprocessed and with little or no cooking.

But sadly, fewer than 1 out of 10 Americans eat two servings of fruit or three servings of vegetables per day. Half of us eat no vegetables at all!

(And no, ketchup is NOT a vegetable, regardless of what the Food Pyramid guide says.)

Most of what we eat is fried, baked, canned, frozen, dried or irradiated - all processes that kill the naturally occurring enzymes and make the food "dead."

Dead foods don't GIVE you enzymes -- they USE THEM UP in digestion. And since dead foods are difficult to break down, they use up LOTS of enzymes.

The price of low enzymes

Lacking digestive enzymes means your digestion gets ruined...which results in gas, bloating, constipation, diarrhea and heartburn.

Pretty obvious.

But it doesn't end there.

Since every bodily function from head to toe depends on enzymes, if you run low, it's not a question of IF you will get sick and diseased.

The questions are:

- What disease will you get? and
- How soon?

How to get the enzymes you need

There are basically just two ways to get the enzymes you need -- from your food and with supplementation.

1- Enzymes in food

This has two parts.

The first part is to incorporate more "live" food into your diet. That means fresh fruits and vegetables that are either raw or very lightly cooked.

The second part is to avoid eating meals that are difficult to digest and require an enormous supply of your enzymes.

Now, if either or both of these seem challenging to you, don't worry. I can help you every step of the way.

With the Great Taste No Pain health system.

Great Taste No Pain is loaded with delicious recipes and suggestions for adding live foods to your diet. You'll be shocked at how tasty eating your enzymes can be! The GTNP manuals show you the food combinations that digest easily and efficiently with minimal enzymes necessary.

2- Supplementation

Many people are so dangerously low in enzymes that eating living foods are simply not enough. This is especially true with the elderly, fast food or boxed food junkies, and anyone who has taken acid reducing medication for a long time.

Plus, some people would rather stick needles in their eyeballs than to eat a fruit or vegetable.

And still others have genetic or inborn problems affecting their enzyme production or activity.

So if you're in one of those three categories, or just want to make sure your enzyme supply is what it should be, then a top shelf enzyme supplement is what you need.

Like Digestizol Max.

The super-potent blend of 14 enzymes targets a broad range of proteins, carbohydrates, sugars, fats and fibers in your diet.

PS: Eileen said goodbye to 30 years of constipation and pain...and as a bonus, her waist is reappearing!:

*******************

Hi Sherry:

I've had attacks/flair ups since I was 18 years old with what I thought at the time was appendicitis, I now know differently. I was never satisfied with the answers I received from doctors so I turned to alternate medicine, naturopaths always helped but it became rather expensive, I would come home with a bag of pills and potions, told to add more fibre to my diet, drink more water etc. but I had no real idea how to go about all this.

Your book is so clear with all the information, it really is easy to follow and I'm using the type of food I generally buy anyway.

I've always tried to eat healthy and maintain good health but no one ever seemed to be able to give me all the information. It seems like all the really important bits were missing so I was always doomed to fail.

I have battled with constipation for as long as I can remember and I've tried to correct that through diet rather than pills but never really very successful. Now I'm 53 and the past 3 years I've had this constant bloating, gas, indigestion and pain.

Finally out of desperation for some relief I came across your site "Great Taste No Pain" and I tried your free 4 day trial. I couldn't believe there was such a simple remedy to something I've been trying to manage for the past 30 years--immediate relief with just some small changes and no weird food.

My stomach is a lot flatter and I can almost see my waist which disappeared some years ago, but best of all is the pain has gone.

Thank you Sherry so much for passing on your knowledge and research so that we can all now enjoy life without all of those embarrassing, painful conditions that rob you of so much enjoyment.

I'm looking forward to years of good health.

Eileen
