Heart Disease Responds To Gut Therapy

Heart Disease Responds To Gut Therapy

According to the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC),
the top cause of death in the US continues to be heart disease, just ahead of cancer.

"Heart disease" is the umbrella term that includes coronary heart disease (CHD), coronary artery disease (CAD), heart attack (myocardial infarction), congestive heart failure and congenital heart disease.
But with the exception of congenital heart disease (meaning you're born with it), heart disease doesn't just pop up suddenly one day.
It's created slowly over time...
You see, the primary cause of heart disease is atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries). And that develops steadily, day after day and year after year.
Here's how that happens, along with a very surprising way you can help keep it far away from YOU!
Inflammation is the culprit
Heart disease is primarily the result of chronic inflammation in your arteries.
You see, just like your favorite sweatshirt, your car or the paint on your house, your arteries incur normal wear and tear, and that causes little abrasions or rips to the vessels.
When your body senses these little injuries, its repair team (made up of platelets and white blood cells) comes to the site to start healing...and part of that process includes stirring up some inflammation.
Then your body sends its "healing salve"--cholesterol--to seal up the wound.
This is a normal, healthy bodily process designed to help protect ALL of your cells and tissues from harm.
The problem arises, however, when the inflammation in your blood vessels becomes CHRONIC.
That's when your repair system begins working in maximum overdrive, cholesterol starts to accumulate too much in your arteries...
...And you become a medical statistic.

So what causes this inflammation?
Up until now, the primary known causes or contributing factors of arterial inflammation have been smoking, lack of exercise, deficiencies in Omega-3 essential fatty acids and Vitamin C, and a diet full of processed foods and trans-fats.
But now there's a "new kid on the block" that can contribute to chronic inflammation.
It's your GUT.
That's right.
Specifically, a gut that's "leaky."
Here's how:
From the gut to the ticker
Your intestinal (aka gut) wall was designed by Nature to be strong enough to move your wastes along with its muscle contractions (called peristalsis), as well as keep dangerous toxins "locked up" until they can be eliminated with your bowel movements.
At the same time, the gut wall also "opens its doors" just ever so slightly to allow nutrients from your foods to be absorbed into your bloodstream.
But the danger arises when your gut wall becomes TOO permeable...or leaky. As in "leaky gut syndrome."
When your gut wall becomes too leaky, toxins from your foods, the environment and disease-causing bacteria now have an "open door" to seep into your bloodstream.
Then a dreadful, inflammation and disease-causing cycle begins:
1. First, your immune system reacts strongly to toxins in your system, seeing them as dangerous invaders. When it detects them, it sends out an SOS to your repair team (that I described above) to get the inflammation cycle going.
2. Toxins glide through your bloodstream, become lodged in your tissues and can remain there for YEARS, all the while continually igniting an inflammatory immune response.
3. Toxins can generate oxidative damage to your cells (similar to the damage caused by trans-fats) which keeps the inflammation cycle going.
This is the perfect recipe for chronic inflammation and sadly, many a case of heart disease.
The inflammation can also manifest itself as conditions like arthritis, migraines, asthma, thyroid goiter, eczema, psoriasis, low back pain and fibromyalgia.

So who has a leaky gut?
Well, just about ANYone!
First of all, people with Celiac disease and autism are at a great risk for leaky gut.
In addition, if you take medications, you're also putting out the welcome mat. Most commonly the prescribed drugs can lead to leaky gut, and that includes the "Three A's":
1) Anti-inflammatories--including NSAIDS like Tylenol and Advil, aspirin and steroids such as prednisone and cortisone.
2) Antacids and acid-reducers
3) Antibiotics
Leaky gut is also caused by poor digestion.
You see, when your foods are poorly broken down and too big to pass through the gut wall, they move down the GI tract and become food for the harmful bacteria in your gut.
This is a double-edged sword.
For one, the "too big" food particles become putrefied (rotted). And as they rot, the harmful bacteria in your gut feed on them and multiply like rabbits. This leads to harmful bacteria overgrowth (dysbiosis) and makes your immune system practically non-existent.
In addition, during this rotting, chemicals are formed that are poisonous to your body. They are SO toxic that they irritate the lining of your colon and eventually eat away at it, making it porous.

Strengthen your gut wall - prevent heart disease too!
As you can see, the health of your gut goes WAAAY beyond just preventing gas and having normal bowel movements!
Having a nice, strong gut wall can help prevent inflammation from head to toe--and that includes your precious arteries.
And the good news is that strengthening your gut wall and keeping it strong is a snap to achieve.
It just involves two simple steps:
1) Structure your meals so that your body can easily break them down like it should.
The Great Taste No Pain health system will teach you exactly how to do this.
The manual "How To End Stomach Pain Forever, Even If Your MD Says, 'No Way!'" will tell you the few easy food-pairing principles you'll need to remember and explain the scientific basis behind why they work so well with how your system digests food.
"What To Eat With What" will help you plan meals around all of your favorite foods, including meats, poultry, fish, pastas, grains and more.
And there's even a pocket guide to use when dining out so you can make sure ALL of your meals are easily digestible wherever you are.
Note: If you have Celiac disease or are gluten sensitive, Great Taste No Gluten is for you instead.

2) Ensure your intestinal flora are properly balanced.
The friendly bacteria in your system help to keep the gut wall non-porous, as well as assisting with digestion and keeping harmful bacteria under control.
The ideal flora balance is having at least 85% beneficial bacteria and no more than 15% harmful.
The problem is most people are walking around with the complete OPPOSITE of what they should have. This is not only due to poor digestion, but also environmental toxins, medications, stress and lack of sleep.
So it's essential to give your gut a helping hand with a quality probiotic supplement...
Like Super Shield multi-strain probiotic formula.
Super Shield contains powerful strains of 13 friendly bacteria that are robust and ready to take their place in your system. They'll help fend off the bad guys, keep your digestion smooth, beef up your immune system and help make that gut wall nice and strong.

Heart disease is our number 1 killer and it doesn't look like it's going to be disappearing any time soon.
Do all you can to keep inflammation low and your arteries healthy.
Believe me, your loved ones will thank you for many years to come.
To your health,
Sherry Brescia

PPS: Gladlyn's off blood pressure meds and much more!
Dear Sherry,
Thank you for your marvelous work to help bring relief to people like me.
I have been suffering with acid reflux disease for almost 20 years. I used different brands of antacids before I was put on Nexium five years ago. My doctor told me I may have to remain on it for the rest of my life. However each time the side effects became too severe I ceased taking the Nexium only to return to its use when the acid reflux was too bad.
Recently, I developed high blood pressure and that with the reflux ended me in the ER. I had severe chest pains.
I did a research on Nexium and found out that it should be used as a short term treatment for acid reflux disease. I began searching for alternatives and found your plan. I started it immediately.
I am no longer taking the Nexium and I have no problem with my stomach. I sleep well without being propped up with six pillows.
I am no longer on blood pressure medication and my blood pressure is normal.
If only I found your plan before I would have saved a lot of money, sleepless nights and several doctors' visits, not mentioning the pain and discomfort which I endured over the years.
I will sure make your plan my life style for the rest of my life. Thank you. Please continue the good works.
Yours,
Gladlyn
