Dr. Jack Wheeler's new report - "Something is going to have to give."

This is a summary of Jack Wheeler’s take on the Edward Snowden affair:

Edward Snowden is a hero, not a traitor. He alerted America to the extreme danger to our freedom of the police state created by Obama.

The Bush administration had the capability to spy on Americans, but did not employ it.

Obama put it to work with a vengeance. What we have now is the United Stasi of America.

What Snowden revealed is much less significant than what has been in the public domain since NSA cryptanalyst and SIGINT (Signals Intelligence) designer William Binney became a whistleblower in April 2012.

This is how Binney described PRISM:

The NSA's capacity to spy on every American is “orders of magnitude, thousands of times greater than what the KGB, the (East German) Stasi, or the Gestapo ever dreamed of having.”
Snowden may have done for America what the Republicans have not been able to do - get rid of Obama.

As a result of the newly- acquired awareness of the NSA surveillance program, the left is outraged as much as is the right, and many of the leading lights of leftist ideology are now turning on Obama.

Our culture and our economy is being destroyed from within.

Thanks to Snowden, "Something is going to have to give."

The fuse has been lit, the revolution is coming.

Are conservatives on the side of freedom or of fascism?

You'd think that would be a no-brainer, that of course they're on the side of freedom.  Yet in the last few days, a number of prominent conservative thinkers and leaders have had such a strong emotional reaction over Edward Snowden that they've allowed their amygdala to seize control of their prefrontal cortex.

It's a temporary condition, and they'll soon be thinking rationally again.  Yet as TTP is "The Oasis for Rational Conservatives," let's assist them in doing so.

First, some examples of conservatives rushing to defend Barack Hussein Obama and the Democrat Party from Snowden's whistleblowing:

Max Boot in Commentary on "The NSA Leaker is no hero." The guys at Powerline on "Snowden's treachery".  Arnold Ahlert's hysterical and incoherent screed in FrontPage entitled "Traitor." Even the normally rational Investors Business Daily accusing Snowden of Treason.

Then there's Pub Congressistas like Boehner calling Snowden a traitor, and Peter King (R-NY) bootlicking Zero and demanding Snowden's imprisonment.

Add to this the conservative apologists for the Surveillance State - no abuses here folks, nothing to see, move along - like John Podhoretz and Brit Hume.

All of this is in the name of "National Security."  No matter what violations of our basic constitutional rights and freedoms the federalies commit, if it's done to make us "safe," if it's for something sacred called "national security," oh, well, then, that's okay, we're on Obama's side here.

What conservatives haven't drunk this Kool-aid?  Tea Partyers, hordes of whom are now saying, "We told you not to trust the government!" Rushbo - who, with his typical acuity sees that "The real danger is Obama not Snowden".  Glenn Beck - who, along with ultra-leftie Michael Moore whom we'll get to later - calls Snowden a "hero." Jim Sensenbrenner (R-WI), author of the Patriot Act in 2001, who refuses to label Snowden a traitor, and calls Zero's assurances on the NSA "a bunch of bunk."

Rushbo asks a very good question:  "What secrets did Snowden actually betray?"

Ever hear of a guy named William Binney?  He was the NSA's best cryptanalyst and SIGINT designer spying on the Soviets, but after 9/11 became a Whistleblower.  In April of last year (2012, over 13 months before the world heard of Edward Snowden), he was interviewed in an event called a "Surveillance Teach-In."

Binney described in detail the NSA data-mining project now known as PRISM.  All Snowden has added to Binney's description is the project name and the NSA's PowerPoint slides.  He also made the danger of what the NSA is doing far clearer than Snowden, by describing the NSA's capacity to spy on every American as "orders of magnitude, thousands of times greater than what the KGB, the (East German) Stasi, or the Gestapo ever dreamed of having."

When you have an hour to spare, here's the video interview of Binney:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=s976iyaO39A

The video is reeking with irony.  Note the name of Laura Poitras, who filmed the interview.  She's the one who, along with Glenn Greenwald, broke the story on PRISM in the London Guardian on June 7 (Snowden contacted her because of the Binney film).  She filmed the now-famous 12 minute interview of Edward Snowden in Hong Kong, revealing his identity to the world on June 9.

The irony is that you can bet just about everyone in the audience listening to Bill Binney is a leftie.  He and they are into Bush-bashing, upset at NSA spying on Americans under Bush-Cheney.  The irony becomes honey-sweet that their anger is now being directed at Zero.

Note: Thanks to Joe Katzman's Weekly Mind Food from last January, TTPers were introduced to Bill Binney.  Joe urges us all now to take heed of Binney's response to people who say, "I have nothing to hide."

More Snowden irony.  Conservative Snowden-bashers are going around the bend over his interview in the South China Morning Post today (6/13) with his supposedly "explosive" revelation that "the US government had been hacking into computers in Hong Kong and on the mainland for years."  Shocking!  Treasonous!  It will set back US-Chicom relations for decades!

Ah, where is the explosive shock over the article in the current (6/10) issue of distinguished Foreign Policy magazine published by the Washington Post, Inside the NSA's Ultra-Secret China Hacking Group - which provides vastly more details than Snowden's smidgeon of comments?  Are Snowden-bashers going to demand the death penalty for the editors of Foreign Policy?

What about Snowden fleeing to Chicom-controlled Hong Kong?  Proof he's a traitor, right?  Why else would he go there?  Actually, it's brilliant, as it exploits a quirk in Hong Kong law.  The guy is not dumb.

Rather than condemning Snowden, we should be celebrating him.  He has not done the slightest bit of damage to our real actual national security.  In fact, he has enormously enhanced it, and in two enormously important ways.

First, he has focused attention on the Leviathan Surveillance State that America has become under Zero.

The NSA, the FBI, the IRS and other federalie agencies have vast amounts of information on you - yes, you, personally - and me and every other American.  They have a copy or recording of every phone call, every email, every text message, every bank statement, every credit card purchase of yours and more.

Think long and hard about that - and what fascists could do with it.

Combine that fact with one other:  that there are so many laws, rules, and regulations in the Federal Register that there is no possible way for you or anyone else to have not broken one of them, indeed hundreds or more.  That's a principal purpose of the legal labyrinth.

The moment you become "someone of interest" to any of these agencies, the moment some bureaucrat doesn't take a liking to you, all that needs to be done to destroy you is a) find a law/rule or plethora of them that you have broken, b) access all the stored data on you and your life, c) put both together for a prosecutor, a SWAT team raid on your home, a smear campaign by accommodating journalists or combo thereof - and your life is toast.

As Bill Binney says, it is beyond stupid to shout, "But I haven't done anything wrong!"  The federalie fascisti decide that, not you.

The kicker is that George W. Bush and his government had this capacity - and the Left hated and denounced him for the threat that he'd use it... but he never did.  Zero and his government have this capacity squared, and is using it to destroy and intimidate anyone who opposes him.  Tea Partyers under IRS audits are just the barest beginning.

E.g., How many major donors to conservative candidates in 2014 are going to now reconsider?

There is an unquestionable need for the federal government to have intelligence agencies such as the NSA and the CIA to detect and deter foreign threats to the security of our country - and an FBI for the same regarding domestic threats.  Zero is using this to create a fascist police state.  This is now being exposed, and with its exposure, there is now the opportunity to dismantle Zero's creation.

For let there be no mistaking this:  Just as the NSA's snooping capacity is orders of magnitude, thousands of time greater than what the KGB, Stasi, or Gestapo had, so the national security threat of Zero's government to America is orders of magnitude,  thousands of times greater than any bunch of Medieval Moslem Jihadis.

Our culture and our economy is being destroyed from within.  Just look at what Zero and the Dems have done to our military.  The Pentagon Pussies who run it are Zero's bootlickers, prosecuting soldiers for having conservative views.

Scores of millions of Americans are having their souls destroyed, dependent on Food Stamps and Disability payments, rather than being responsible for their own existence.  We all say "Yess, Massah" to the TSA bullies at the airport.  Our culture is a cesspool.  All of this and so much more is getting worse by the day.  And we're worried about some Moslem crazies?

Worse, the NSA is incompetent at protecting us from them.  They sure didn't against Boston Moslem terrorist Tamerlan Tsarnaev who was busy visiting al Qaeda terrorist websites. The NSA's PRISM data-mining has played a minor role in uncovering Moslem plots.  One reason is that Moslem mosques are offlimits to FBI or NSA surveillance.

Let's spy on and data-mine everyone - except Moslems.  No doubt that's the way to protect us from Moslem terrorism, right?

So, thanks to Snowden, we have a chance for our intel people to profile Moslem Jihadis and leave the rest of us alone.  That's his good deed number one.  His second one may be bigger than that.  He may get rid of Zero for us.

Let's face it:  we can't.  No amount of yelling, protesting, caterwauling, or exposing his crimes by us will do any good.  Only the Left can politically destroy Zero, to turn him into a Democrat Nixon.

Thanks to Snowden, they are on the verge of doing so. Here's a sampling.  To start, however, recall that the London Guardian that broke the PRISM-Snowden story, is radically left. Glen Greenwald and Laura Poitras are radical lefties. This whole thing began on the Left.

Yesterday (6/12), the leftie Politico ran "Obama-Knows-Best Goes Bust."

In the Atlantic on Tuesday (6/11), professional Bush-hater Molly Ball warned that Zero's surveillance revelations are "Pushing Liberals Over the Edge."

In the Guardian on Monday (6/10), leftie hero Daniel Ellsberg as the leaker of The Pentagon Papers in 1971, hailed Edward Snowden for "Saving Us from the United Stasi of America." Meaning, saving us from Zero.

On Wednesday (6/12), leftie Congressista Loretta Sanchez (D-CA) told The Hill (the paper of Capitol Hill) that what has been revealed so far about NSA spying on Americans is "just the tip of the iceberg." She said she and her colleagues were "astounded" by the scope of the spying on Americans by ( Zero's) government.

Today (6/13), on a cable news show, leftie icon Ralph Nader asked the host: "Has there been a bigger con man in the White House than Barack Obama?"

Democrat pollster Patrick Caddell sums all this up in The Fuse Has Been Lit: Seven Critical Points in Uncle Sam's Spying Program. This is Jack Kelly's "must read" of this affair.  Caddell concludes:

Thanks to Snowden, "Something is going to have to give.  We are on the cusp of some huge shift in power relations between the core and periphery, between the DC Beltway and flyover country. Right now, Washington has the upper hand, but an aggrieved population can always win--if it is willing to stand up and fight."  The fuse has been lit, the revolution is coming.

Which brings us back to Michael Moore.  We saw above that one of the arch-sleazeballs of left thinks "Snowden is the hero of the year." And we should be cheering, not gnashing our teeth and rending our garments. Again,  the only way to destroy Zero is for the Left to have a Left-Wing Hero who will do it for us.

What's more, those on the left who are outraged by Zero's fascism are on our side.  For once.  This may be the only time, the only chance we get to join forces with the folks who can do the job of taking out the Fascist Trash of Zero with us.  Who would have ever guessed a 29 year-old high school dropout could do this?

Providence, indeed, has an unfathomable sense of humor.  Let's all laugh with Him.

It's NOT TRUE that Bush did no spying. He had to pass a 10 yr retroactive FISA bill to cover up all his illegal wiretapping and Clinton's before him. NSA and all the others agencies have been spying on us from the days of BUSH SR because even back THEN he was locating and murdering all his enemies (anybody who didn't "play along" with his and Clintons' NWO. It's just that TODAY, they are totally OUT OF CONTROL - the entire federal government, the courts, congress.

When I found out all communications were being recorded, I looked the other way for I had nothing to hide.

When they came for the Whistle blowers, I looked the other way for I was not a Whistle blower and I had nothing to hide.

When they came for alternative medical practitioners protesting suppression of safe medical treatment, I looked there other way for I was not an alternative medical practitioner, I was healthy and I had nothing to hide.

When they came for the alternative new media, I looked the other way for I was not in alternative news media and I had nothing to hide.

When they came for the organic farmers and anti Monsato protesters, I looked the other way for I was not in farming and I had nothing to hide.

When they came for home owners refusing to leave their illegally foreclosed homes, I looked the other way for I owned my home free and clear and had nothing to hide.

When they came for the children of homeschooler parents refusing the public school system indoctrination of their children, I looked the other way, as my children were grown and I had nothing to hide.

Then my grandchildren were born. The vaccines killed my first grandchild and caused learning disabilities in my second grandchild, my third grandchild survived the vaccines. This forced my daughter to homeschool my second grandchild and the state removed him. When my daughter refused chemo therapy for the cancer of my third grandchild instead opting for organic food and safe supplements the state removed her. When my daughter went to alternative media, the IRS audited her and put her in jail. I could not look the other way at this point and remortgaged my home to pay for legal fees to help my daughter. Then the bank due to late paid land taxes illegally foreclosed on my home. I borrowed money to pay the late taxes from friend, but the new June 2013 UCC laws allowed foreclosure without court rulings and I was forced to leave my home or be arrested.

The government has years and years of my communications and data. I now sleep on my friends couch paralysed in fear that they will come for me next. For if I go to alternative media for help, they will trace all my data and will find out that I made paid transactions for healthy alternative supplements, I made paid transactions for homeschool supplies for my grandchild, I made paid transactions healthy organic foods, I visited websites on line of alternative medical practitioners and alternative news media and I made paid transactions for Chiropractor, homeopathy, etc for myself and my grandchildren and by their records I can be held liable for aiding and abetting my daughter and thrown in jail.

I looked the other way when this was happening to everyone else because it did not affect me. I thought I had nothing to hide. Little did I know all my past transactions and communications were being monitored and recorded and could in the future implicate me and take away my freedom by throwing me in jail.

I sit writing this from my friend's couch. Some might say I am still free as I am not yet in jail.

Some might say I was never free.

Think twice about saying I have nothing to hide.

Think twice about looking the other way.

Think twice if you still think you live in a free country.

Think twice if you think you are free.

For freedom in the US and much of the world in only illusion.

The tracking and recording of all data ensures they will find you guilty of something if you do not "look the other way"
