How To Reduce Your Drug Side Effects

How To Reduce Your Drug Side Effects

Most of us have seen comedy movies or skits where a "mad scientist"
with wide eyes and wild hair is frantically mixing chemicals together in his lab in search of a "new potion" of some sort.

But eventually the scientist puts the wrong stuff together and all of a sudden...BOOM! His concoction blows up in his face, leaving his hair and eyebrows burned and his lab coat all disheveled.
Although a story line like that is good for a laugh in a movie, sad as it is to say, something very similar to that is happening in real life...
...Not to a wild-haired mad scientist, but to innocent human beings.
It's called drug side effects and interactions.
And these poor people in every big city and every small town in are suffering with problems that are a lot more serious than burned hair or wrinkled clothing.
Because the effects can be uncomfortable, disastrous or downright deadly.
Here's what I mean:
Nothing is for free
When it comes to medications, nothing is for free, my friend.
Whether they are prescription or OTC and regardless of what they are used for, there is ALWAYS a high price to pay with drugs--and I'm not even referring to their exorbitant price tag.
You see, contrary to what most people think (and what most drug advertisers lead you to believe), it's not like you ingest a drug and it innocently travels to your "problem area" to work its magic.
Not even CLOSE.
First of all, the drug needs to be broken down by your GI tract and absorbed into your bloodstream through the intestinal wall. This can mess up your friendly gut flora which happens to be where 70% of your immune system resides.
So every time you take a drug, you are compromising your immune system functioning, period.
Once it's in your bloodstream, the drug has a clear path to sail all through your body, and potentially cause harm to any of your cells, tissues and organs.
That's why the typical drug can have such a wide variety of side effects -- because anywhere in your body is fair game once something is in your bloodstream!
One organ that is especially affected is your liver--because it sees the drug as a poison that it must try to detox.
Eventually the drug makes its way to the "problem area" and (maybe) carries out its intended purpose if you're "lucky."

The latest drug concerns
Here are just a few recent examples of just how wicked the wrath of drugs voyaging through your bloodstream can be:
1- From bronchitis to heart disease
A study conducted in Denmark showed that an antibiotic commonly prescribed for bronchitis and sinus infections (azithromycin) may increase the risk of death from heart problems for people with "certain underlying risk factors."
The study involved more than a million cases of antibiotic treatment for young and middle-age adults. Use of azithromycin (also known as Zithromax or a "Z pack") was linked with nearly a triple increase in the risk of dying from heart problems over the five-day treatment, compared with not taking antibiotics.
Now, the medical community can't specifically spell out what these "certain underlying health risks" are...
According to Dr. Tara Narula, associate director of the cardiac care unit at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, no one knows the exact mechanism by which azithromycin causes heart problems, but it's thought to change your heart's electrical activity.
I'll take the bronchitis, thank you.

2- From high blood pressure to serious gut damage
The Mayo Clinic reported in 2012 that 22 of their patients that were taking the blood pressure drug Benicar (olmesartan) developed symptoms of Celiac disease.
None of the patients tested positive for Celiac with blood tests, so they suspected that the drug was the likely culprit behind the symptoms.
Sure enough, they were right. When the patients stopped taking olmesartan their symptoms seemed to subside.
A detailed follow-up investigation showed that the patients who took olmesartan had, in fact, sustained VERY serious intestinal damage as a result of the drug, and that the damage began to heal once they stopped it.

3- No heartburn while using your crutches
Over 110 million prescriptions were written for PPIs like Nexium and Prevacid in 2009, making it the third most prescribed class of drugs.
But what many people don't realize is that long-term use of PPIs increases your risk of fractures!  People taking PPIs get lots of fractures...
Plus, they impair your digestion, encourage harmful bacteria overgrowth (which weakens your immune system) and reduce your body's ability to kill dangerous bacteria in your food (so you're more susceptible to food borne illness).

More than one is multiple "fun"
What makes this situation even more disconcerting is when someone is taking two or more drugs on a regular basis.
And heaven knows that describes millions of Americans!
Because not only are you dealing with challenges like I described above, but now you also have to worry about the "mad scientist" saga -- the potential "BOOM" to your health of mixing different chemicals together!
Sadly, the results can be disastrous. Here's the latest example of this in action:
In a recent study published in the Annals of Internal Medicine, Canadian researchers have noted that statins (such as Lipitor) don't mix well with the antibiotics clarithromycin or erythromycin.
These two commonly used antibiotics inhibit the metabolism of statins and increase their concentration in your blood, which can cause muscle or kidney damage, and even DEATH.
Yeah, I'd call that "not mixing well" all right.

STOP the madness
If reading everything in this email so far has either concerned, scared or positively maddened you, you're not alone.
And you're also not helpless to the power of the drug industry and their endless greed.
Because you can take charge of your own health in safe, natural ways and make it FAR less likely that you will need "chemical help" to begin with. And if you still take medication, you can radically reduce the likelihood of side effects by following these suggestions.
Here are 3 effective measures you can take to help you get off drugs or reduce the numbers of them you take...and reduce the side effects you are no doubt getting:
1) Food, your miracle medicine
Your diet has THE single most profound effect on your digestion, your GI tract and your overall health from head to toe.
You cannot be exist on fast food, packaged "stuff" or regularly eat hard to digest meals and not expect to suffer for it.
Your suffering will typically start with GI issues like GERD, acid reflux, constipation, diarrhea, gas, bloating and harmful bacteria overgrowth.
And that's just the beginning.
Because toxins and poorly digested food molecules seep out into your bloodstream and can cause a number of seemingly unrelated problems, from migraines to arthritis to skin problems to food allergies.
And if you are toxic long enough, even cancer!
In addition, if you're not getting properly nourished, that can lead to overeating (and weight gain) and depression, plus learning and behavior problems in kids!
So as you can see, food is the root cause of MANY a health woe.
However, just as eating the wrong foods leads to sickness and disease, eating the right stuff can help turn that around in a hurry.
And that is what I can help you do with the Great Taste No Pain system or if you're gluten sensitive, Great Taste No Gluten.
Both Great Taste No Pain and Great Taste No Gluten show you how to pair foods to help digestion to be accomplished smoothly and completely.
Not only will this dramatically reduce gut problems, but it can help improve your overall health from head to toe by reducing toxins in your bloodstream and improving your nutrient absorption!
And never did eating for great health taste SO delicious. The dishes in the GTNP and GTNG recipe books are positively spectacular!

2) Alternatives to drugs
There are many natural alternatives to traditional medications, so it's important to explore options that may work for you.
An excellent example is digestive enzymes.
Many people have gotten tremendous relief from heartburn, gas and bloating (and gotten off purple pills) just by giving their system a little enzyme "help" when eating foods that are a tad hard to digest.
And when it comes to choosing a top shelf digestive enzyme formula, you can trust Digestizol Max.
Digestizol Max is loaded with 14 natural, potent plant-derived enzymes that will give your body the help it needs to break down all of your foods -- even heavy proteins, complex carbs and sticky fats.
Plant-derived enzymes have been shown to be between 10 and 100 times MORE effective at digesting proteins, fats and carbohydrates than animal enzymes. Plus, the plant origins make them suitable for vegetarians and meat eaters alike!

3) Balance that intestinal flora
Having a poor diet and medication use (especially acid reducers and antibiotics) both lead to harmful bacteria overgrowth in your gut.
This not only hampers your digestion and weakens your gut wall but also obliterates your immune system. So it's essential to make sure your population of friendly gut flora is healthy and strong.
In addition to eating a good diet, a high-quality probiotic supplement is the most effective way to help encourage a proper flora balance.
And Super Shield multi-strain probiotic formula is as good as it gets.
One of Super Shield's 13 superior bacteria strains, Lactobacillus Rhamnosus, has been shown to stimulate antibody production and enhance phagocytosis (one of your body's weapons for destroying dangerous invaders).
In addition, Super Shield also contains Bifidobacteria Lactis, which has high adhesion to human mucus. That means it will stick to your colon wall to keep it strong and protective, which helps keep wastes, dangerous toxins and bacteria from leaking out into your bloodstream and making you sick.

Don't spend one more minute thinking that dangerous and possibly unnecessary chemicals from the industry that profits on human misery is your destiny.
Because when you help create health from within, chances are excellent that you won't need as many medications, or any medications at all!
See what the power of a healthy diet, natural alternatives to medications (like digestive enzymes) and a properly balanced intestinal flora can do for you.
To your health,

Sherry:
I am still in a state of total disbelief!
Almost 2 weeks on your program and for the first time in over 25 years I am not taking a proton pump inhibitor! Nexium, Prevacid, Protonix--you name it and I have used it.
In addition I was taking over 600 gms of ranitidine and Tums and many a night I sat up with extreme gerd. Always feeling bloated and embarrassing bouts of gas all gone.
Your program has made me feel better than I have felt in years. I can't wait to see my gastro doctor and show him your plan and tell him he can save his Rx pad as far as I am concerned.
I can't begin to thank you and to think I really had to think about it before I went ahead and ordered your program. The whole thing is so logical and really doesn't require any major changes in lifestyle.
