Pope Francis May Have Just Confirmed Those Reports of the Church's Secret "Gay Lobby"

Let's flashback to this past February when Italian newspapers were abuzz about reports that Pope Benedict XVI decided to call it quits not because of his old age but instead to avoid the fallout that could come from a secret 300-page dossier compiled by three cardinals he tapped to look into last year's leak of confidential papers stolen from his desk.
The most-attention-grabbing detail from those reports, you may remember, was the suggestion that there was "an underground gay network" within the church. Just in case that wasn't enough to pique international interest, the reports also claimed that some of said officials had been blackmailed by outsiders. At the time, the Vatican denounced the reporting as "unverified, unverifiable or completely false."
OK, now let's flash-forward to the present day, via CBS News:
Pope Francis lamented that a "gay lobby" was at work at the Vatican in private remarks to the leadership of a key Latin American church group ...
The Latin American and Caribbean Confederation of Religious — the regional organization for priests and nuns of religious orders — confirmed Tuesday that its leaders had written a synthesis of Francis' remarks after their June 6 audience. The group, known by its Spanish acronym CLAR, said it was greatly distressed that the document had been published and apologized to the pope.
In the document, Francis is quoted as saying that while there were many holy people in the Vatican, there was also corruption: "The 'gay lobby' is mentioned, and it is true, it is there ... We need to see what we can do ..." the synthesis reads.
The Vatican has so far declined to comment on the report, saying only that the pope's remarks were made to a private audience. CLAR, meanwhile, is standing by its account, albeit somewhat bashfully. The group released a statement saying that the summary was written by a half-dozen of its leaders for their private use, but stressed that it was not intended for public consumption. "It's clear that based on this one cannot attribute with certainty to the Holy Father singular expressions in the text, but just the general sense," the group said.

Nevertheless, the pope's remarks as documented obviously come as quite a shock both for their candidness and because they appear to confirm at least a portion of the earlier reports about the secret findings of the investigation into the leaked papers. Those papers, known as the "VatiLeaks," raised questions of financial impropriety and corruption at the Vatican. The investigation that followed, however, has proved even more uncomfortable for church officials.

This subject really gets on my nerves, I mean seriously maybe if their religion was more open minded, accepting & compassionate toward homosexuality, ten maybe these 'gay lobbyists' won't be open to blackmail cause they won't need to hide who & what they are. Also another thing is Tom Heneghan, no offence to him BUT why does he feel the need to mention in the majority of his updates who's gay & who's lesbian what does that matter? :S

If the thousands of raped and molested children most of whom are boys by this Vatican Cult are not enough to convince you of the evil doings of this child pediphile machine go back to sleep.

I'm SICK of one horrendous act after another this master cult is caught up in in the name of God. I am not speaking of homosexuality a persons sexual preference between two consulting adults is NOBODY'S business but theirs ( little boys and girls excluded) not even Gods. Do no harm period.

It makes my stomach turn that first there is ANY doubt that the majority of these so called holy men are gay but how outraged people become when faced with it but little children constantly and still being abused gets brushed under the rug until the next time.

This loyalty to religion any religion has to STOP when it's riddled with despicable acts that aren't humane never mind Godly.

Anyone who needs a mediator (priest) to connect to a God that oversees this crap and protects these monsters are indirectly just as guilty as the actual offenders.

Love and compassion is the key to the Universal Divine Plan it's based on a simple law DO NO HARM PERIOD. Show me Any religion and ill show you separatism judgement arrogance greed and superiority.

Oh yeah a little LOVE only if you behave. Come on people wake up stand together throw these animals out of these extravagant churches built on the money of poor people and HELP each other because its right and feels good PLEASE

Most people know that homosexuality and pedophilia are NOT the same thing... is the "pope" really that stupid not to know this, or is this a maneuver/manipulation?

Your absolutely right homosexuality may not be the same as pedophilia but add the male homosexual priests and young boys and we've got a continued match of abuse. All sexual attractions on this planet have been guided towards youth.

My point once again is the uproar that homosexuality causes is ridiculous because some silly man mad ebook (bible) says its wrong according to God but no specific NO pedophila clause

My God this particular religion is consumed with bad morality along with others. Imagine becoming a good loving person all by your own intuition and moral compass because we are divine beings with the amazing ability to know right from wrong and love rather than fear.

We need to bust these religions wide open exposé them for what they are programming and become divine intuitively spiritual beings with separate thoughts on loving each other in unity.
